Meet Our Team!

Brenda Allen
Brenda Allen is responsible for our office milieu being calm, and welcoming. She responds to calls, emails and walk-ins in an efficient, competent manner. Brenda is also our resident expert on insurance coverage.

William Beckett
William E. Beckett attended Youngstown State University and was a state Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with supervisory status (LPCC-S). He specialized in couples and men’s issues but treated all adults for a wide range of problems. Bill passed on January 19, 2022. He organized and led this practice for over 40 years. His legacy is the continuing compassion and professional expertise in this practice. He will always be remembered

Bert RIP
Bert (Albert Einstein Beckett) wandered into our practice over 7 years ago. He gently greeted and welcomed all in our waiting area or therapy office as needed. He passed away in 2018.

Danna Bozick
Danna Bozick earned a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Youngstown State University and has post-Masters education from the American Academy of Bereavement. She is state licensed as a Social Worker and an Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor with clinical supervision. She is a Prevention Specialist and Tobacco Treatment Specialist. Dana uses her skills to provide treatment for individuals and families with issues ranging from addictions and depression to interpersonal conflicts and women’s issues. She also uses art therapy techniques with children and provides counseling for individuals considering bariatric surgery.

Amanda Eskins
Amanda Eskins is our Office Manager. She facilitates a caring, professional environment for clients and associates.

Melissa Novits, FNP-BC, PMHNP-C is a dual-licensed Nurse Practitioner certified in family medicine and psychiatric mental health nursing. She brings twenty-six years of nursing experience to the practice. She works with individuals, couples, and families, helping them to navigate challenging life experiences. She addresses the areas of anxiety, depression, PTSD, and marital/premarital counseling, as well providing pre-surgical intervention counseling sessions in a confidential and safe environment. Melissa’s treatment plans include counseling with or without the use of pharmacological interventions.

Tom O’Donnell, LPCC received his Masters Degree in Community Counseling from Youngstown State University. He is skilled in the use of hypnosis, cognitive-behavior therapy and works with individuals experiencing difficulties with addictions, anxiety and depression across the lifespan. Tom also is experienced in working with traditional and nontraditional couples and families. He is a military veteran and is active in the local and tristate area theatre community.

Kathleen Tusaie
Kathleen R. Tusaie earned a PhD from the University of Pittsburgh and is nationally certified as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a Clinical Nurse Specialist. She is also Professor Emeritus from The University of Akron. Dr. Tusaie uses psychotherapy, EMDR, hypnotherapy, psychiatric medications, and select complementary/alternative approaches in her practice.
